The latest innovation in MTB wheels are without doubt 27.5, 650B wheels, sometimes called 650B. This wheel size is not a compromise but combines the advantages of 26 and 29 inch mountain bikes without having any mentionable downsides to it. Everyone is talking about it -not least since Nino Schurter won a World Cup as well as a silver medal at the London Olympic Games on 650B. Both cross-country and marathon racers have increasingly been using 27.5 inch wheels; in marathon even more than in cross-country.

The reason for the increasing popularity of 650Bs is simple: they are lighter and more rigid than a 29 inch bike and at the same time pick up and maintain speed faster and more easily respectively. Furthermore, they roll over obstacles much more gently, have better cornering stability and better traction than a 26 inch bike. A 650B is the ultimate trail bike. Custom MTB Hardtail 29 Titanium Frame

No other mountain bike maintains speed better and rolls over obstacles more gently. A titanium 29er mountainbike frame is ideal for marathons and riders addicted to the thrill of speed as well as for riders who are new to cross-country mountain biking. Thanks to the large wheel diameter, speed is easily maintained and obstacles are overcome effortlessly, and the large contact surface of the tyres improves traction on steep climbs or fast corners. No other hardtail (mountain bike with suspension fork) is more forgiving and gives you more security in difficult terrain or when speeding downhill than a 29er mountain bike frame. The only minor disadvantage – the loss of rigidity – can be compensated by manually installing and soldering special spokes to the wheels. Loss of rigidity can also be reduced by fitting thicker head tubes, through-axles (such as the Syntace X-12) and tube sets. When it comes to handling characteristics, we can accommodate your every whim or fancy, be it supreme manoeuvrability or the smooth running of a 29er. Everything is possible.

No matter what slope you want to take on your ride, our frame accommodates every gearbox from Pinion and thus provides you with a gear range of up to 600%
(you can find the original Pinion gear ratio calculator here). Uphill and downhill you will pedal past all derailleur MTBs with a relaxed smile. Another positive effect of the transmission? Less oscillating weight on the rear wheel and a more central, lower center of gravity of the frame provide you with incredible responsiveness and safe handling. The s Pinion Hardtail MTB Titanium Bike promises you stability in any situation - whether its 3 seconds of airtime or 3 hours of climbing on the steepest ramp. And since everything is nicely packaged and securely seated in the bottom bracket, you no longer need to worry about weather influences or stone chippings. Almost nothing can harm the Pinion gearbox. That is also why a minimum of maintenance is sufficient - an oil change every 10,000km.

But thanks to the Pinion gearshift, we can equip the bike with a center track belt drive from Gates. The always straight chain line is not only extremely efficient and quiet but also eliminates wear and is therefore practically maintenance-free. Titanium is much more resistant to forces than aluminum or carbon and even if it cracks, it can always be repaired. But of course, we at HILITE Bikes also don't want you to get tired while riding. That's why we swear by Titanium. Titanium flexes more and therefore provides you with the most convenient seating comfort of a hardtail. Our frame also provides you with the greatest possible freedom for another important comfort element of every bicycle, the tire - and that means the greatest possible tire (freedom). We have modified the classic hardtail geometry for our s Pinion Hardtail MTB titanium bike in the steering angle. It´s a bit steeper and therefore reacts more agile to your steering movements. The resulting tendency to flutter is in turn contained by the central weight distribution and the particularly high rigidity. By using conifed and ovalized tubes, we can better distribute the load at the appropriate places and thus get a stiff and stable frame with a low weight.
